No sooner had the adrenaline surrounding our well-attended Thuringian Porcelain Day on April 6 died down than our boss Annett set off for an extraordinary event in PARIS.
Here in Reichenbach, South Koreans have just squeezed through our special sale in droves to get their hands on the TASTE tableware series, which is famous in their home country (https://www.otz.de/regionen/saale-holzland-kreis/article242040794/Oscarpraemierter-Film-Parasite-macht-Reichenbacher-Porzellan-in-Suedkorea-beruehmt.html) – now in Paris, an incredible 400 star chefs are crowding around the stands in the impressive halls of the Parisian CARREAU DU TEMPLE. Including us with Reichenbacher Manufaktur treasures.
Under the motto “50 Years of never-ending Passion” , the members of the Jeunes Restaurateurs, the “Young Restaurateurs”, met to celebrate their 50th anniversary. We were the only German porcelain manufacturer to have the honor of presenting our manufactory porcelain in an exclusive atmosphere. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our friend and star chef Oliver Röder for bringing this unique opportunity to our attention. As a manufacturer, when do you ever get so many interested customers served up on a silver platter?
Despite the large crowds – but Annett was already used to that from the weekend – many chefs came to see what is possible in our small Reichenbach manufactory (namely almost everything 😊). The picture shows our business partner Johannes King paying us a visit at the stand.
One or two new customers were acquired and after 6 hours the event was already over for us as exhibitors, while the chefs moved on to the after-show party. What an amazing weekend.
The reason why our work and the philosophy of JRE fit together perfectly becomes clear here: passion for the craft, quality instead of quantity and a fine line between perfectionism and madness 🙂
