Things are hotting up at the 4Eck restaurant in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the Chefs Table last weekend, we were able to see for ourselves what 26-year-old chef Johanna Schaaf and her team have created with their passion and talent. The whole thing was crowned by the warmth and hospitality of the owners Uschi Glas & Kerstin Schumann Ishizuka. We are proud to be able to supply such great hosts with our porcelain. The cozy ambience matches the top alpine and regional cuisine.

Among other things, they are served on square trays, which were originally produced in our manufactory as a desk set. Where better to experience a beautiful renaissance than in the 4Eck ?!?

One of the 7 courses, on our dinner plates with a square mirror: chamois from local forests (“Heimatwild”) with salted plum and chocolate-spruce jus. MORE alpine feeling IS NOT POSSIBLE!
As if made for the 4Eck: our mountain plates with the relief of the Zugspitze, topped with an absolutely delicious dessert.

The chefs Uschi & Kerstin describe our contribution to the success of Johanna Schaaf’s new kitchen concept as follows: “Annett and Rigo Geithe have a lot of experience in Michelin-starred gastronomy and were therefore reliable and safe advisors when it came to choosing the right china. To make sure that everything would arrive on time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the Chef’s Table, they packed their own car full and set off a few hours early to deliver everything personally. True passion.”
It was a great pleasure to accompany you in this creative process. We would like to thank you for the wonderful evening and also take our hats off to so much craftsmanship & passion in all corners of the 4Eck!!! Here’s to a successful collaboration ❤️
