Our Palau series is the ideal companion for your summer at home. It combines a sensual feel with detailed maritime drawings on the finest handcrafted porcelain.
The
contrast of glazed and unglazed surfaces makes each individual piece a tactile experience. This relief-like character is particularly evident in the fish motif on the large pieces.
The dark tone of the fish is made even more intense by the
surrounding white of the glaze.
The majority of the plate flags in the
PALAU collection are
characterized by their fluted structure, which
is reminiscent of sea waves. To achieve this
, only the plate mirrors
are glazed, the flags remain unglazed
and are polished by hand after the final
firing. This creates
the velvety soft surface
and the special look of the edges,
in which the different fish motifs
are embedded. The mix of the plates with the
fish motif and the plates with the
flags in blue is particularly
beautiful. As each piece of the
PALAU service is made entirely by hand
