While we may have toasted the New Year with sparkling wine, champagne or beer, we’re now reaching for something a little harder for the occasion. Because gin is also one of this year’s trend drinks, and with the current temperatures outside, you can also look for a cozy spot with the mulled version. But whether it’s the hot or cold version – we have the right stage with a wow effect for you. Woe betide anyone who wants to settle down with a promotional mug or a cocktail glass with a straw, we won’t even start such fashions in the new year. We want to make a real visual splash, when there is currently enough gray and gloom out there in the world.

We have named our new in-house collection M’Amor & Psyche , deliberately somewhat provocative and ambiguous. The marble look that our painters have conjured up here with great creativity and skill reminded us directly of Greek mythology. And it was only a tiny train of thought away before the decision was made to dive deep into 24-carat gold.

The light reflections created by the gold inside are an eye-catcher in themselves. But of course we don’t want to be left high and dry. You can’t imagine how great an ice-cold gin and tonic looks in here with its slightly pearly surface… simply awesome.

Every cup is unique, no two have the same marbling – that is our core competence as a manufacturer. Handmade. Valuable. One of a kind. Nothing more and nothing less.

A new year should be toasted in style, and not just on New Year’s Eve. Because the wish for a healthy and happy year, for the big and small goals you want to achieve, is something you should always keep in mind in order to turn it into reality. You should often take this opportunity to enjoy a nice cup of gin with friends, your loved one or the whole family. Especially in difficult economic times, we as a manufactory are also dependent on people like you who enjoy beautiful, practical and handmade things, who still take time for enjoyment and support us in doing so.

Wishes for 2024 and the gray times thing…

More and more working people are standing up against what is being put in their way and preventing them from being able to run a business, a trade or a farm economically and, above all, successfully and sustainably. A plethora of regulations, taxes and guidelines make it more difficult to passionately pursue a profession that is worth living for yourself and future generations. We personally are no different in this respect, although of course we do not work in such an existentially important industry as our farmers. And without wanting to take a political stance here, but simply to speak from my personal feelings as a young person – something has to change in economic policy and also in politics in general. It must not be a disincentive to tie a medium-sized business to your leg because of the economic conditions and the bureaucracy, which is getting bigger and bigger every year! It should not be a consideration to apply for a citizen’s allowance because you get almost as much as a worker who goes to work for 8 hours a day! These are the wishes for all of us and for politicians as we toast the New Year. Cheers!
