Porcelain craftsmanship in detail

Decorative firing

Finally, the various decors are fired in the decor fusion (decor firing).
These can be hand-painted gold surfaces, stippled or sprayed colored areas or ceramic sliding pictures.
These finishing steps give the porcelain its individual and often artistic design.
The individual decorations require different temperatures in order to be optimally fired, whereby these temperatures can be between 850 and 1260 °C.
From a temperature of 1100 °C, the decoration sinks into the glaze, making the decoration 100% dishwasher-safe.
In our decoration department, the actual finishing process begins for some products, while for others only the bottom mark or our customer’s label needs to be added.
Here, we dab, print, spray or even apply 24-carat gold with a brush, either partially or over the entire surface.
Customer wishes are rarely left unfulfilled.
This requires a high degree of precision, creativity and efficiency from our employees.
