Hollow casting

In the hollow casting process, a liquid porcelain mass and usually 2- to 3-part plaster molds are used.
First, the liquid mass is poured into the plaster mold.
After an individually determined dwell time, a body has formed on the plaster walls.
The remaining liquid mass is then poured out again.
The length of time the mass remains in the mold determines the thickness of the body.
