METZ UND KINDLER has been designing for a fixed client base as a two-person team since 1993. Among others, they work for WMF, for whom they have designed and realized over 500 products. However, partners Flörke (manicure products), MABEG (public transport) and Auerhahn also make up a large part of the design work.
The collaboration between porcelain manufacturer Reichenbach and Darmstadt-based design studio Metz und Kindler began in 2009. Back then, the designers developed the ParaMi service for Reichenbach, which meets the highest standards of design and function with its futuristic tableware shapes.
In 2019, they expanded the portfolio with the new “Bergeteller” series. Starting with the true-to-scale depiction of the “Zugspitze” on porcelain, the collection now also includes the “Matterhorn” and the “Drei Zinnen” mountain massif. Further mountain worlds are already being planned.
