Porcelain craftsmanship in detail

Turning

The turning process is ideal for producing rotationally symmetrical items.
A homogeneous mass, plaster molds and a roller head are required for this process.
The mass is placed in the plaster mold, either manually or automatically with the help of a roller machine.
The roller head rotates into the mold, with the distance between the plaster mold and the roller head forming the body.
A key quality feature that we can offer for series production using the turning process is the up to 40% higher edge breaking strength of our products.
The turning process requires strength and a certain understanding of the properties of the porcelain mass and the plaster molds
