Revocation and return

 

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date,

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has or has taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are or will be delivered uniformly
  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods, provided that you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately
  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece, if you have ordered goods that are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces;

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach GmbH, Fabrikstraße 29, 07629 Reichenbach, Germany) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail).
You can use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of revocation

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment.

We may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract.
The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.

Reasons for exclusion or expiry

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

  • for the delivery of goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer
  • for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;
  • for the delivery of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed upon conclusion of the contract, but which can be delivered at the earliest 30 days after conclusion of the contract and the current value of which depends on fluctuations in the market over which the entrepreneur has no influence
  • for the delivery of newspapers, magazines or periodicals with the exception of subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts

  • for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery
  • for the delivery of goods if they have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their nature
  • for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.

Transport damage

As soon as your Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach parcel has arrived, please check that the goods are complete and undamaged and that the delivery bill is correct.
If you notice any discrepancies or damage, please contact us immediately via the contact form, by e-mail to webshop@reichenbach-porzellan.de or by telephone on + 49 (0)36601-88-0.

It happens very rarely, but it can happen that your goods are damaged during transportation.
We ask you to check immediately upon receipt of the delivery whether the outer carton shows any visible damage.
If this is the case, be sure to keep the damaged box as it serves as proof of the transport damage.
In this case, please contact us immediately.
We will then arrange for the goods and the damaged carton to be returned to you.
We will replace the damaged goods as quickly as possible.
Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach GmbH shall bear the costs of the return shipment in this case or collection and replacement delivery.

How does the reversal of revocation work?

As a porcelain manufacturer, we set the highest standards for quality and production.
However, if you are not satisfied with a product, we will try to solve the problem quickly and easily.

You can exercise your right of withdrawal in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions and return unused and undamaged goods.
Custom-made products are excluded from this.
Please return the goods in their original packaging.
Please inform us of your return by e-mail.
For returns within Germany and returns from EU countries, we will immediately send you a returns link, which you can use to purchase a pre-filled DHL shipping label.
Alternatively, you can of course have your parcel franked at your local post office.
Please send your return insured to the address stated on the return label.
In the event of a withdrawal, the buyer bears the cost of returning the goods to us.

If you have already paid for your goods, you will of course be refunded the full price and any shipping costs paid for deliveries within the EU or to Switzerland as soon as possible.
If your delivery is incorrect or damaged, we will cover the shipping costs.
We will use the same payment method for the refund that you used for your order.
