As with her previous Reichenbach designs, Paola Navone has also intensively studied the Thuringian manufactory’s historical treasure trove of shapes for the new “Taste” porcelain, which is suitable for gastronomy. Typical design features include wide, graphically abstractly contoured plate flags that quote neo-baroque models from the Reichenbach collection and interpret them in a contemporary way. New in this collection are the cups and saucers for espresso, tea and coffee. A precious pearl rim relief is the only decoration on the saucers. The cups are given an “extra” touch by handles that extend into the inside of the cup, creating a further highlight and perfect complement to the abstract shapes of the plates. The series is available in plain white or with hand-painted decorations in gold or cobalt blue.
